Areas of Focus

I support people in areas such as:

• Finding relief from anxiety, overthinking, and hypervigilance
• Letting go of shame, guilt, or self-doubt
• Healing emotional triggers or relational patterns
• Healing from people-pleasing and perfectionism
• Setting healthier boundaries and reclaiming personal agency
• Learning to understand the parts of yourself that are hurting
• Moving through life changes (divorce, parenting shifts, grief)
• Reconnecting with identity and self-worth
• Exploring your true values and making aligned choices
• Cultivating self-compassion
• Building confidence and self-trust
• Recovering from religious harm and navigating faith transitions

Whether your struggle fits neatly into a list or not, what matters most is that you’re ready to see your story in a new light — and you don't have to do that work alone.

My Approach

I see therapy as a collaborative process where you’re supported with warmth, curiosity, and respect. My role is not to “fix” you, but to walk alongside you as you rediscover your own strengths, wisdom, and clarity. I draw on approaches that help you get to the root of what’s been holding you back, whether that’s old patterns, painful experiences, or the lingering impact of trauma.

Whatever brings you here, our work together is about helping you reconnect with yourself and find the clarity and strength to move forward in your life.

Some of My Approaches:

EFT (Emotion Focused Therapy)

My approach is influenced by Emotion Focused Therapy. This means I help clients gently explore the emotions beneath their stress, patterns, and life experiences. Rather than pushing feelings away, we make space to understand them, because emotions often hold important information and can guide healing, self-understanding, and meaningful change.

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)

EMDR is a well-researched therapy approach that helps people process and heal from painful or traumatic memories and limiting beliefs. EMDR allows the brain to reprocess experiences that have felt “stuck,” so you can move forward with less emotional weight and greater resilience. EMDR uses bilateral stimulation, which can be either gentle tapping, binaural tones, or eye movements.

Parts Work (IFS - inspired)
Every person has many “parts”. Some hold hurt or fear. Some have old habits and strategies that once helped you survive but now may hold you back or keep you feeling stuck. In our work, we get to know these parts with care and curiosity, helping you bring healing to the places that feel stuck or wounded. By understanding and caring for these parts, you can find greater balance, make choices that reflect your true values, and feel more confident and at home in yourself.

Religious Harm Recovery
Questioning or leaving a faith community can bring deep confusion, fear, and even loss of identity. For those who have experienced harm within religious or spiritual contexts, I offer a space of deep understanding and validation. Healing from religious trauma can involve untangling fear, guilt, or shame, and rediscovering your own voice and values outside of high control systems. I bring compassion and care to this process, honoring the courage it takes to explore these tender places.
